To most, dandelions are pesky yard weeds. For me, I spend ours foraging, collecting, cleaning, drying, and infusing this humble weed. Dandelions have amazing skin care benefits: They’re rich in antioxidants, have anti-aging qualities, and can help protect the skin against UV damage.

You can see more HERE about the process I use to add dandelions to my natural skincare products.

There are so many wonderful benefits to using natural homemade lotion bars.

  • Super moisturizing
  • Solid concentration, which makes them great for travel
  • Quick-absorbing oils & butters that help protect your skin

My Dandelion Lotion Bars are made with five ingredients:

  • Dandelion-infused olive oil & shea butter helps moisten and softens the skin.
  • Beeswax helps holds the bar together
  • Mango butter helps replenish skin health
  • Vitamin E helps to soothe irritated skin

HOW TO USE

Take the lotion bar and warm it slightly with the warmth of your hands. Gently massage the bar into your skin. Once the bar is soft, use the lotion bar as you would with any other lotion. Use on dry patches, cracked feet, or areas that need extra moisturization.

Tip: I like to use my lotion bar right when I get out of the shower when my skin is open and ready to absorb the benefits of the oils and butters.
